Trouble with Lightmaps/Shadows
As anyone who's seen and or played the beta can confirm, Chestnut Grove still has quite a few graphical problems. You can see Objects not lit properly, dark edges, light bleeding into rooms, and more.
Most of these are due to the current Lightmap, which is basically the light and shadow data baked on top of object textures. I've unfortunately run into a lot of issues with this in my project. Something within my project seems to throw of the Unity Lightmapper as well as the plug-in that I use, Bakery. It causes Unity to crash, so I haven't been able to properly bake and correct the look of the game.
This is currently the number one issue I'm working on, but it's a tough nut to crack, so it might take some time until there'll be some improvements.
If anyone has some experience with baking Lightmaps and specifically Bakery, I'd be awesome if we could have a small chat. :)
